A lot of kids have a bit of an odd love for fake food. If you’ve never played with it, you might find that your kids love it.

A few years ago, we got a little diner toy for our kids for Christmas. They really liked it, and played with it a ton. For a long time, they were just using play-doh, and other little toys to pretend like they were serving food.

About a year later, we bought a bunch of fake food. This took our diner to the next level. The kids are still playing with it to this day, and it’s all about the fake food. They love serving it to each other and to us as parents.

I’m not really sure what it is about the fake food, but it’s something that we play with basically everyday. My oldest son always asks if he can serve us food, and play with the diner. I just got done eating a plate of fake food myself, and am quite full.

The pack of food that we got is great as it has a huge variety of foods, and it wasn’t very expensive. It allows a huge variety to order from the kids, and is great for teaching a younger child about all kinds of different foods.

Fake food is really great for teaching a younger child about types of food - fruits, vegetables, etc. It’s also great for teaching them to recognize different foods without having to eat them all the time - we don’t eat tons of pizza around here, so it’s easy to show them.

Now, if only my kids would learn to make all of the different foods that are in there...then we’d probably be well overweight.

Have fun playing with fake food and scarfing it down.
